Crozer Health Medical Groups Adds Weekend Primary Care Convenience Hours at Crozer Brinton Lake; Adjust Hours for Drexel Hill and Media Locations

The Crozer Health Medical Group is tailoring its popular convenience care program on April 1 to better meet the needs of its patients. Currently serving patients requiring immediate medical attention with weekend hours at the Garrett Road practice in Drexel Hill and the Middletown Practice in Media, the program will now expand to the Glen Mills Family Medicinepractice at the Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake, 300 Evergreen Dr., Suite 150.

The practices have responded to the demand to expand the locations of Saturday hours in place of offering Sunday hours, due to patient preference. Therefore, Sunday hours will be discontinued and all three locations will offer Saturday-only convenience hours weekly starting April 1.

During convenience hours, no appointment is necessary. Patients may simply visit one of the three offices to be seen by a Crozer Health physician or advanced practitioner for sick visits, physicals, and management of chronic conditions such as diabetes or asthma. The on-site staff can then help schedule any necessary follow-up appointments with the patient’s primary care physician or specialist as needed, ensuring that all of the patient’s regular Crozer Health providers will have seamless access to the records from the weekend visit.

Convenience hours will be offered on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 3030 Garrett Road in Drexel Hill, 176 S. New Middletown Road in Media, and Suite 150, Crozer Medical Plaza at Brinton Lake, 300 Evergreen Drive in Glen Mills. For weekend inquiries, patients may call 610-579-3599.
